The passing of U.S. Congressman, former Houston Mayor and State Representative Sylvester Turner marks the loss of a true giant—someone whose impact touched not only our city, but also our state and our nation. He was a remarkable leader, a tireless advocate, and a shining jewel whose influence will be felt for generations to come. His dedication to public service and his love for our community will never be forgotten. He was a true Statesman, City-man and Countryman!
